Photo Poetry: Week Three

LONG WALK

The longest walk is always when

my back is to the light.

I have to turn around again

to try to make things right.

Facing the wrong way makes me sad.

It makes the shadows tall,

But when I turn around, I find

The walk’s not long at all.

I choose the Light.  I’ve just begun

to Keep my Focus on The Sun.

Photo Poetry: For Week Two

A LEADER TO FOLLOW

I cling to skyward dreams

Transparent, shining, new

As spruce-scent, and it seems

I’m clinging most to you.

And if you ever ask me why,

I’ll say “You’re pointing to the sky.”

(Note that I do not cling alone.

You point to sky.  You point to home.)
